Your purchase is important to you and important to us. We want you to receive your goods in the pristine condition in which they were sent to you. That's why we only use high quality, new packaging and also why we send all purchases by recorded delivery or international signed for.
We believe that the small additional cost of signed for delivery is an investment worth making to provide extra security and prevent you arriving home to find a soggy parcel on your doorstep and the resultant disappointment this would bring.
Environmental Considerations
Our prioity in terms of packaging is to ensure that your purchase reaches you in perfect condition, however, we also take our environmental responsibilities seriously. All packing chips used are made from biodegradable corn starch, not polystyrene. All boxes are fully recyclable and where possible manufactured from recycled board. We use only recycled paper for our invoices and all our ink cartridges are passed to charity for fund raising and re-use.
In a hurry?
As a standard we send all purchases by 2nd class signed for, however, if you are in a hurry we are happy to send 1st class or special delivery upon payment of the additional cost. Please contact us for these options.
Our delivery charges are as follows
UK Mainland - £2.75 for the 1st item plus 50 pence for each additional item or £2.35 for lighter items plus 50 pence for each additional item.
Some of our lighter items such as cosmetics and smaller, lighter perfumes are sent at a reduced rate of £2.35 plus 50 pence per additional item.
Europe - £7.25 for the 1st item plus 50 pence for each additional item
Outside Europe £8.50 for the 1st item plus 50 pence for each additional item.
Please note that import duties may be payable in certain destinations and Pique Perfumes cannot accept responsibility for any additional cost incurred as a result. Please note that we will not adhere to requests to mark packages as 'gift'.
Please note that all parcels will require a signature upon receipt.
Most orders are despatched same day but we guarantee that all orders are despatched within 24 hours (business hours permitting).
As external delivery services are used we cannot guarantee the actual delivery time, however over 90% of UK orders are received within 2 days. In the very unlikely event that a parcel goes missing Royal Mail require 15 working days before they will consider it lost. We therefore will wait that period before actioning replacement or refund.
Delivery times are subject to availability, payment authorisation, processing and verification.
Please note that Pique Perfumes do not accept liability for any failure or delay in delivering goods caused by any event or circumstance beyond its control.
Where items have been returned 'Not Called For' by Royal Mail, the Customer will be contacted - the order can either be cancelled (refunding cost of items only, not postage) or re-sent at an additional postage charge.
We are happy to deliver to an address other than the card holder's address, however, we reserve the right to ask for confirmation of validity before the order is sent.
Orders
After placing an order you will receive confirmation via e-mail
Goods will be packaged and dispatched within a maximum of 24 hours (Mon-Sat only). We post orders on Saturday morning provided the order is received by 9.30am. In the unlikely event that we are unable to send an order on a Saturday morning it will be sent on the Monday, but upgraded to 1st class at our cost.
All stock and prices are subject to availability.
In the unlikely event an item is out of stock after placing your order we will inform you as soon as possible to offer an alternative item to the same value or provide a full refund.
Remember, you can order and pay by post. Just download the order form from our checkout page. However, please contact us so we may reserve the item.
Payment
All purchases must be paid for prior to dispatch of goods. All major credit and debit cards are accepted via Worldpay and Google Checkout both online and over the telephone, we also accept cheques and postal orders. Cash may also be sent at sender's own risk. If paying by cheque or postal order please contact us at sales@piqueperfumes.co.uk or by calling 01209 719532 before sending payment. Sufficient time should be allowed for the cheque to clear before goods are despatched.
